What are the Tenacious Ten?

There are ten shots that will only be available during specific parties and experiences. These are:

National Amaretto Day (4/18, 3p-7p) First Day of ShotShow!
Cinco de Almost (5/2 & 5/3, 3p-7p both days)
Memorial Day* Weekend After Party (5/24, 9p-11:59p)
Pride MusicFest After Party (6/7, 9p-11:59p)
Juneteenth Pot Luck Picnic (6/19, 12p-4p)
56th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots (6/28-7/3, 4p-6p)
Ranger Alli's God Damn Week (7/28-7/31, 4p-9p Monday-Wednesday, 8p-11:59p Thursday)
The Gay Olympics Opening Ceremony (8/1, 7p-11p)
Labor Day* Weekend After Party (8/31, 9p-11:59p)
Gay History Night (10/4, 6p-9p)
The Final After Party (11/1, 9p-11:59p) LAST DAY TO GET SHOTS IN

You can do these shots at any time on the day listed above for their specific event. But for it to count as being in-person, you have to be there. Yes, even if participating virtually. Being in-person means participating during the time window listed above and/or being at the actual event.

Please note: Labor Day and Memorial Day will have the same shot.

How can I be in-person virtually?

Whereas typically folks who participate virtually have to send a video of them downing their shot, to be considered "in-person", you have to get ahold of another ShotShow participant who is at the event, and do your shot on a videocall. The times listed above may not accurately depict the actually event times (typically they are longer than what is listed). Check with Alli about when and what counts as "in-person" if you have specific questions.

I don't know anyone in Maine, let alone at Gay Naked Camp, who the fuck am I going to call?

If only there was a multi-national, morally corrupt social network that allowed for people to build groups like this one here. And it would be WILD if that same social network allowed groups to literally plan video calls that you could access on your hand held mobile device. (Yes, you social anxious millennial, call a stranger. They, like you, have made an active decision to publicly associate with Alli and are more than likely incredibly mentally ill. It will be fine.)

What if I miss out on one of the Tenacious Ten, in-person or otherwise?

You just head back on over to this website, and buy a ticket for the shot you missed, take the shot like any other shot, at anytime before November 1st and it will count. This also applies to taking it in-person; for virtual in-person shots, you still need to take the shot on a video call with another competitor, but they do not have to be at any specific event for it to count (you paid for that privilege, enjoy it).

Is buying the Tenacious Ten opportunities expensive?

Look at the date. Turn that slash mark into a decimal, that's the cost of the opportunity (August 1st becomes $8.10.) If there are multiple dates for an opportunity, they are added together (Cinco de Almost on May 2nd & 3rd, becomes $5.20+$5.30=$10.50).

All the money that is spent buying these is going to go towards purchasing hoodies. Any leftover money will be donated to support feeding (primarily) queer folks on Thanksgiving who may have no where (safe) to go for the holiday. (Receipts will be posted - cause we love transparency.)
